What must I not take with either of them?
Nitrate medicines and riociguat. With a PDE5 inhibitor, the combination can cause a severe drop in blood pressure.
Certain heart conditions, alpha-blockers and other blood-pressure medicines need extra caution. Your provider reviews everything you take before deciding.
When should I get medical help?
Seek prompt care for an erection lasting more than four hours, sudden vision loss, or a sudden decrease or loss of hearing.
These are rare, and they are the ones not to wait on.
When do I take it?
Ahead of time, on the schedule your provider sets, and once in a day — never twice.
A large, fatty meal beforehand changes the timing, so your provider will go through that with you rather than leaving it to guesswork.
