This policy explains how cancellations and refunds work for services and medications purchased through Koves LLC ("Koves"). It restates the refund, cancellation, renewal and shipping terms in our Terms of Service. If the two ever differ, the Terms of Service control.
Questions about a charge or an order: hello@koves.co.
How Billing Works
Koves services are cash-pay. Koves does not bill insurance, Medicare, Medicaid or any other government healthcare program. The price, what it includes, and how often you are billed are shown to you at checkout before you pay.
Some Koves programs renew automatically. If you enroll in a recurring program, you authorize Koves and its payment processors to charge your payment method at the price and frequency shown at checkout until you cancel. Billing dates can shift slightly because of weekends, holidays, month length, or provider, pharmacy or payment-processor timing.
Cancelling a Subscription
You can cancel a recurring subscription at any time:
- through the cancellation option in your patient portal at patient.koves.co; or
- by emailing hello@koves.co.
Cancelling stops future renewals once the cancellation takes effect. It does not reverse charges already incurred, or undo a consultation already completed, a clinician review already performed, a prescription already sent to the pharmacy, pharmacy processing already started, or medication already dispensed.
Prescription processing can begin shortly after a provider approves treatment, so if you want to cancel, please do it before your prescription is processed whenever possible.
When Charges Are Non-Refundable
Except where applicable law requires otherwise, charges may become non-refundable once the related service has been performed or pharmacy processing has begun. This can include charges for:
- healthcare provider consultations and medical review;
- prescription processing and pharmacy fulfillment;
- medication;
- laboratory services;
- administrative services; and
- shipping.
If you have a question about a specific charge, contact hello@koves.co.
Prescription Medications Cannot Be Returned
For safety reasons, prescription medications generally cannot be returned for resale or reuse once they have been dispensed by the pharmacy.
Wrong, Damaged or Duplicate Orders
Contact hello@koves.co if you believe you received:
- an incorrect product;
- a materially damaged shipment;
- a duplicate charge or an incorrect charge; or
- any other fulfillment error.
Please include your name, the email on your account, the date of the charge or delivery, and a short description (a photo helps for damaged shipments). Questions about the medication itself — its labeling, storage, ingredients or formulation — can also go to the pharmacy that dispensed it.
Shipping and Delivery
Any delivery timeframe shown to you is an estimate, not a guarantee. Orders can be delayed by clinical review, provider approval, pharmacy processing or compounding time, supply limits, weekends and holidays, carriers, weather, or incorrect shipping details.
You are responsible for giving a complete and accurate shipping address, collecting your delivery promptly, and storing medication as the dispensing pharmacy or manufacturer instructs.
Your Rights Under Law
Nothing in this policy limits any refund or remedy that applicable law gives you.
Availability
Services are available only in jurisdictions where affiliated medical providers are licensed to practice and where pharmacy partners are authorized to dispense medications. Availability may vary by state and is subject to applicable laws, regulations, and licensure requirements.
